Noblesville and Hamilton County have struck a deal to extend 146th Street from just east of Ind. 37 to I-69.  The move would pave the way for development of Noblesville’s Corporate Campus, an area the city has targeted for business development.

The 146th Street extension would run through the heart of that area, giving assurances to potential developers that there would be adequate infrastructure to support new businesses.

Construction of the $25 million project isn’t expected to begin until 2006, with work on its design and route beginning this year.
