FISHERS -- Community Health Network has purchased 25 acres at Saxony's Centers of Commerce in eastern Fishers, which will be developed for medical use. Preliminary plans for the initial phase call for building a medical-office building that incorporates primary care, specialty care and ancillary services.

Site work is scheduled to begin by mid-2004.

The Community Health Network facilities will join the world headquarters of the Wesleyan Church at Saxony's Centers of Commerce. The three-story Wesleyan Church building encompasses 70,000 square feet and is scheduled for completion in February.

Saxony is a 700-acre, mixed-use development with tracts in both Fishers and Noblesville.

The development plans include 3.5 million total square feet of office, warehouse, and light industrial space, 1.0 million square feet of retail space and 1,250 residences.

Final build-out value is estimated at $500 million.
