Fishers Parks & Recreation Hoop Shoot Competition

The 2013 Hoop Shoot Competition is around the corner. The competition is open to boys and girls ages 9-14. Competitors will compete against their own age and gender.
Similar to last year's Basketball Skills Competition, the Hoop Shoot Competition brings a new challenge to youth basketball players. Participants have one minute to score as many points as possible from five designated shooting spots on the floor. While participants are being scored by shooting, they must dribble to move the ball and must rebound their own missed shots. This event ends up being a well rounded competition for basketball players. Participants will compete in the official competition twice. Players with the highest combined score will win their division and will be notified a few days after the competition.
The Hoop Shoot Competition is free and will be held at the Fall Creek Intermediate School (12001 Olio Road, Fishers) and participants can drop in anytime on Monday, March 25 between 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
