Fishers Tree Lighting Ceremony

The Town of Fishers, in partnership with the Fishers Chamber of Commerce and Conner Prairie, will hold the 2012 Annual Tree Lighting ceremony at the Fishers Amphitheater in the Nickel Plate District, on Thurs., Nov. 29 from 6-8 p.m.
Welcome the holiday season with the lighting of the Town's 25-foot Christmas tree and decorations. This year, families will see an enhanced ceremony, including a small petting zoo and more lights than ever before. Santa will arrive in a horse-drawn sleigh to help a child in attendance light the tree and decorations.
Following the tree lighting, the Fishers High School choirs will perform at the new Nickel Plate Amphitheater. Afterwards, the Dickens carolers will provide a taste of tradition while performing in full costume on the amphitheater stage.Fall Creek Dentistry will have a table set up for children to color in coloring books while enjoying the carols. Throughout the evening, children of all ages are invited to meet Santa to share their holiday wishes while enjoying hot cocoa provided by the Rotary Club of Fishers. Fishers' own Vardagen Design will have photo opportunities in their famous ugly sweater t-shirts.
Launch Fishers, the new location in the Hamilton East Library optimized for entrepreneurs launching high-growth and high-potential enterprises will also be open until 10 p.m. for tours and hot chocolate. A map with the locations of all activities is available at http://www.fishers.in.us/
