Fall is a good time of year to clean out the garage, basement and closets. Not sure how to dispose of items like your old keyboard, lawnmower, grill, refrigerator, batteries and confidential documents? Don't let them end up in a landfill! Bring them to IU Health Saxony Hospital as we help to celebrate “America Recycles” on Saturday, November 10, from 9 am to 1 pm.
Items You Can Drop Off
• Paper Documents: Confidential Document Shredding
• Electronics: any device that operates electronically (phones, PDA's, stereo equipment, iPods, game systems, computers, laptops, printers, routers, switches, cables, mouse, keyboards, etc.)
• Appliances: large or small appliances in any condition (washers, dryers,refrigerators, stoves, ovens, dishwashers, microwaves, freezers)
• Other Items: metal goods (furnaces,A/C units, tools, drills, aluminum cans, lawn equipment, grills, bicycles, filing cabinets)
• Batteries: automotive and electronic
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:
Mattresses, paint, oil, consumer waste, plastic bottles, glass bottles, foam, wood, chemicals, furniture, rubber, fluorescent bulbs
