Saxony Market Celebrates Sweet Corn Season with Free Ears of Roasted Corn

FISHERS, Ind. – July 23, 2014 – In honor of the sweet corn harvest, Saxony Market, presented by IU Health Saxony Hospital, will be hosting Corn Day Saturday, July 26 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. To celebrate, produce vendors will be selling their fresh and locally grown sweet corn. Attendees to Saxony Market’s Corn Day can enjoy free roasted ears of corn from market vendors Wilsons Farm Market and Schmitt Kids Sweet Corn while supplies last. There will also be live music from one of Indy’s finest local live bands, Stella Luna.
Corn Day also benefits the Clover Kids of Hamilton County. Clover Kids is a local 4-H program for children in kindergarten through third grade. Members and their parents will be in attendance to roast and serve corn. Donations for Clover Kids will be gratefully accepted, but are not required.

Located at 131st and Olio Road in Fishers, Saxony Market will be occurring now and every Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. through September 13, 2014.
