FISHERS, Ind. – July 23, 2014 – In celebration of another great summer, Saxony will be hosting its third annual Salute to Summer Concert on Saturday, August 30, 6:30pm to 9:30pm in Witten Park. Salute to Summer will feature The Bishops, one of central Indiana’s hottest acts, playing music the entire family will enjoy. Lead by the powerful vocals of Ms. Georgette Fraction and Bryan Bishop, this always upbeat pop, rock, and dance band defines the word variety with their ability to switch genres in a heartbeat. Send off the summer with your friends and family while enjoying a picnic or a dish from several food trucks while you enjoy a free concert.
Witten Park is located near 134th Street and Olio Road in Fishers, Indiana and is fast becoming a popular outdoor venue for concerts, festivals and private parties. The just over three-acre park features a large limestone sculpture by Bloomington, Indiana based artist Dale Enochs called “Rolling Rhythm.” Saxony offers activities in Witten Park to enjoy for all ages throughout the entire summer season.
