Let's start the holiday early! Join Saxony in celebrating our nation's independence on Thursday, July 3 with an evening of family fun, music, and fireworks at Witten Park! This event begins at 7:00pm with a concert featuring My Yellow Rickshaw and will conclude with fireworks at dusk (around 10:00pm). Everyone is invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets and refreshments. This event is open to the public and FREE!
My Yellow Rickshaw will “boldly take you where no cover band has gone before!” For several years, the band has weaved humor, variety, and seamless covers into every show – from Skynyrd to Kanye, Zac Brown to Miley, a little rock, Top 40, and even an Irish jig or two! With a refreshing lineup of sounds that includes mandolin, upright bass, percussion, and fiddle, My Yellow Rickshaw has been described as talented, unique, and hilarious!
