German Food at Center of Fishers Festival

Folks can feast on German food this Saturday at the sixth annual Fishers Oktoberfest at Saxony.
It's noon to 10 p.m. at Witten Park, 131st Street and Olio Road. Admission is free.
Oktoberfest will have German food as well as other favorites like hot dogs, hamburgers, elephant ears and more. Highlights of the day include: arts and crafts vendors, noon to 6 p.m.; kids' games, 1 to 6 p.m.; and food vendors and beer garden, all day. Live entertainment on the main stage will include Dicky James & The Blue Flames, noon to 3 p.m.; Polkamotion, 3:30 to 6 p.m.; and Big Daddy Caddy, 6:30 to 10 p.m.
