Helmer Inc. announced Thursday it will become the first company to locate its corporate headquarters in Noblesville's Corporate Campus, planned as a large, life sciences hub along I-69 at Exit 10.

“This is a big deal for the state, particularly in these trying times when other states are vying for these kinds of rapidly growing life sciences companies, Republic Development president Rick Arnos said.”

Located in Noblesville since 1987, Helmer manufactures and distributes scientific refrigerators, freezers and incubators to hospitals and blood centers in more than 100 countries on six continents.

Since 1990, the company has doubled in size every three years, Helmer President David Helmer said.  He declined to reveal the company’s annual revenue, but according to the Information Access Co., 2003 revenues topped $17 million.
